Toggle

The Toggle component allows you to capture Boolean (true or false) data within a form. The Toggle component can use any one of the following labels:

  • Yes/No
  • True/False
  • On/Off

Default Value

A Toggle component always has a value. You can choose which value – either the positive or the negative – you’d like to be selected when the component is loaded onto the screen.

Sreenshot

Toggle components come in a few different flavours

Resizing a Toggle Component

To resize a Toggle component, click and drag on a corner of its bounding box. A Toggle component can only be resized horizontally. The height of a Toggle component is adjusted by changing the text-size, padding and margins.

Toggle Properties

When a Toggle component is selected on the Canvas, the following settings are available in the Properties panel:

Basic Settings
Reference A unique identifier for the field. This is critical, as it allows you to reference the field directly when mapping to and from a Data component, or inserting collected data into emails and documents.
Label Type There are three ways to gather positive/negative data: On or Off, Yes or No, True or False. Choose which one is most appropriate to your question.
Default Value Allows you to choose which option should be selected by default when the component appears on a screen.
Styling
Various A host of options to style your Toggle component, that should be pretty familiar if you’ve ever used a basic document editor like Microsoft Word.
