Preloader

The Preloader component shows or hides a little ‘ticker’ animation that takes over the screen while your app is doing intensive work behind the scenes – for example, looping through a data-set, generating PDF documents or duplicating data records. It tells the end-user that your app is busy doing something, and keeps them occupied until it’s finished.

This is a great way to hide the little status bar that appears at the bottom of the screen with every data transaction, especially when several transactions are running one after another.
