Reference Guide
Detailed explanations of every feature and function in NutshellThe Email component allows you to open a new email draft in the end-user’s default email application. Note that this is different from the Email component in the Essentials tool barGo to Essentials - Email (which sends the email directly from within your app).

The Email component will launch the end-user’s default email app, pre-populated with content
This component will open the end-user’s default Email application, and create a new email pre-populated with content that you supply in the Properties panel. It is then up to the end-user whether they want to continue sending the email or not.
To add an Email component to your workflow, drag it from the tool bar onto your Canvas and link it up.
Email Properties
When an Email component is selected on the Canvas, the following settings are available in the Properties panel:

Subject | The subject line of the email. This value will be used to pre-populate the ‘Subject’ field in the new email that is created. This can be typed by hand, or populated dynamically from a variable or form field elsewhere in your workflow. |
Body | The body content of the email. This value will be used to pre-populate the message body of the new email that is created. This can be typed by hand, or populated dynamically from a variable or form field elsewhere in your workflow. |
