Detailed explanations of every feature and function in NutshellTest & Live Communities
When you first open the users panel, you’ll see two main areas: at the top, you’ll see a list of groups and at the bottom you’ll see a list of users belonging to your Nutshell account.

Groups and Individuals can be assigned to your app as end-users
Which users and groups you see will depend on your own account; if you’re an administrator you’ll see everyone in your organisation, whereas if you’re an app builder, you’ll only see people belonging to the same groups as yourself.
Granting access to an app
For each group and individual user in the list, you’ll notice there are checkboxes labelled Test and Live.

Adding users to Test and Live communities is as simple as ticking a box
By ticking these boxes, you can put an individual or group into the Test or Live community for a given app. When you come to publish your app later, you’ll be asked whether you want to publish it to your Test community or your Live community.

You get to choose who should have access to your app when you publish it
If you choose your Test community, the app will be available to any individual or group with the Test checkbox ticked. If you choose your Live community, the app will be available to any individual or group with the Live checkbox ticked.
Revoking access to an app
If you’d like to revoke an individual’s access to an app, simply untick the appropriate checkbox and re-publish. The next time that user logs into their container app, the app in question will be gone.
