Detailed explanations of every feature and function in NutshellGroups
Groups allow individual users to be allocated to teams within your organisation. Nutshell allows you to create as many groups as you like, allowing you to divide your workforce by department, role, hair-colour or any other criteria you feel is appropriate.
For example, most Nutshell users find groups helpful in differentiating between ‘test’ communities (people who will be testing an app thoroughly before it is deployed for real) and ‘live’ communities (people using the app for real).
Larger organisations often use groups to keep teams of builders separate – for example, those working on experimental prototypes, from those working on mission-critical apps on which their business depends. In these instances, groups help mitigate security risks and protect the integrity of valuable data.
