Detailed explanations of every feature and function in Nutshell

History Tab

Imagine for a moment; you’ve built an amazing app that half your workforce is using on a daily basis. You add a cool new feature, and hit publish, only to discover a massive mistake that grinds everything to a halt. You break into a cold sweat and hide under the table.

…or you can roll your app back to the last version (which worked perfectly).

This is where the History tab comes in. When you first create your app, it’ll be blank. But after you’ve published your app a few times, it’ll begin to fill up.

Every time you publish your app, a snapshot is captured and logged

Each time you publish your app, a new record will be added to the History tab, detailing the version number and any notes you might have added to remind yourself what changed in that version. Beside each entry is a Rollback button.

Clicking the Rollback button on a specific build will revert your workflow to the state it was in when you published that version. You can then re-publish it to your community, or start building again from that point in time. Disaster averted.
