Step-by-step guides to building apps with Nutshell

Personlising Data to the End-user

Building secure mobile apps means protecting the integrity of your data. The first step towards this is ensuring that your end-users can only see data that was created by, or assigned to them. This tutorial takes your simple address book app, and shows you how to restrict the data your end-user can see, to only include contacts they created themselves.

This tutorial assumes that you’ve already completed all three “Building a Simple Database-driven App” tutorials, and are familiar with Nutshell’s built-in database tools. If you haven’t, now would be a good time to do that.
